Everton boss Sean Dyche is a huge admirer of the work taking place at Brighton and Hove Albion.
The seaside club have taken the Premier League by storm over the past few years.
Despite a modest budget, and having to continuously replace departing stars, the Albion are still fighting for European places.
Asked about Brighton's recruitment, Dyche told reporters: It looks like they have got it right in the last couple of years.
It's quite a healthy pool they have been shopping in down the years, you know?
If you look back four or five years, they have spent quite a lot of money.
We are all looking at the best way of recruiting. I think they cover a large part of the planet. Matt Benham does a very similar thing at Brentford.
They have been doing that for a long time.
They know and I know and you probably know but they never get talked about - but they have made a lot of mistakes along the way.
It has taken a long time to get to where they have got to.
They have signed some very good players, I agree, in the last couple of years and coached them very well, as have Brentford.
But there has been a lot of work put into their systems for a lot of years before what you are talking about now."
