Everton manager Frank Lampard is leaving it late to decide on the future of starlet Lewis Warrington.

The teenager has been involved for the Toffees in pre-season, but there is speculation he may go out on loan for the coming campaign.

The 19-year-old was on loan at Tranmere Rovers during the second half of last season.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Lampard will wait until the closing stages of the transfer window before deciding on what to do with the midfielder.

His future may depend on how the team performs in the first few games.

Lampard may also be waiting to see if the club can secure any midfielders in the transfer market between now and September 1st.
