Everton defender Michael Keane was happy scoring in victory at Burnley.

Amadou Onana and Keane scored in the 2-0 win.

He later said: "It is always a tough place to come to. A few changes in our team today but it goes to show the effort we put into training every day pays off in performances like that, even when we do make changes. So it is a credit to the staff, to the players and I thought we fully deserved the win.

"It is nice to score. I always fancy myself when I get in those situations. Just to get a game is nice. Jarrad [Branthwaite] has been brilliant, unfortunately for him he got suspended. But you've got to take these opportunities when they come.

"I've made sure I kept as fit as possible, was a bit shattered at the end there, but gave myself a good chance to play when the chance came. So I am happy."

On wiping the 10 point penalty, Keane added: "That's four wins in a row now and that just shows how the whole club has come together. Everton always does. In the last three years good times and bad times, we come together and make it difficult for us to play against.

"It is nice to be able to give the fans these moments in the last few weeks, it's been brilliant."
