Lille star Jonathan David is emerging as a transfer target for Everton.
The Toffees are very eager to add to their frontline in January, especially with the injury issues surrounding Dominic Calvert-Lewin in recent months.
Per Florian Plettenburg, the Blues are extremely serious about signing Canadian forward David.
However, the 22-year-old wants to play for a top that is among the “top-12 in Europe" in Plettenburg's view.
An earlier report from The Athletic stated that Liverpool and Bayern Munich were interested in David as well.
The Canadian will likely have his pick of suitors, with his most likely exit from Lille to come next summer.
