Everton are making a move for Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour.
Gilmour, 21, has been made available by Chelsea after deciding not to give him a squad number this season.
The Scotland midfielder is a loan target for Everton, where manager Frank Lampard oversaw Gilmour's introduction as Blues manager.
Lampard gave Gilmour his first Premier League appearance in August 2019, and he put in some memorable performances for the Blues, including their FA Cup win over Liverpool in 2020.
The Daily Mail says a loan deal is the likely initial option for Everton.
