- Jack Grealish has been omitted from Everton's squad for their Premier League fixture against Newcastle United following an internal disciplinary breach.
- The 31-year-old winger was initially disciplined for skipping a training session when he was not authorised to do so, missing Everton's 3-1 Carabao Cup win over Newcastle on Thursday.
- Manager David Moyes opted to leave Grealish out of the matchday squad once again for Monday's trip to St James' Park, after he also missed the previous weekend’s defeat by Arsenal through reported illness.
- Everton confirmed Grealish is “not match fit” following his omission from the squad.
- Grealish, who is in the final year of his Manchester City contract, is currently in his second loan spell at Everton and has made six goalless appearances this season.
