Everton are opening talks with Jordan Pickford over a new contract.

The 28-year old has two years left on his current deal.

The Daily Mail reports that the Toffees want to reward Pickford after an excellent 2021/22 campaign.

It was Pickford's heroics that arguably got Everton over the line in their relegation battle last term.

The England starter is viewed as an important player by Frank Lampard.
