Everton summer signing Ashley Young admits he is thoroughly enjoying life as a Toffee.
The former Manchester United and Aston Villa flier arrived at Goodison Park as a free agent.
Young, who scored in a 3-0 win over Burnley in the Carabao Cup fourth round, is delighted to play for such a passionately supported club.
"I'm really enjoying it here," said Young to club media.
"When you are winning games and playing in the team, it's all you can ask for. I hope it can continue.
"The competition keeps everyone on their toes. Not just in a game but in training, week in week out, and day in day out.
"You have to make sure you're giving 100 per cent in training, in the right way. If you are not, someone else will come and take your position, so it's healthy competition and a really good squad."
