KOTA KINABALU: Penampang MP cum Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick said that he is honoured to be part of the cabinet of the Unity Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Ewon who has been appointed Federal Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister said the mandate is crucial for entrepreneurs’ development which he is looking forward to pursue.
“Being one of two representatives from Sabah, I am also looking forward to raise issues matter and due for the people of Sabah and will work with fellow cabinet members on the solution to those issues especially on Sabah rights," he said in a statement.
“I will also take serious attention to the constituencies I represent – Penampang parliamentary constituency and Kadamaian state constituency – which require much attention for development under the new government.
Ewon has been the assemblyman for Kadamaian since 2018 and was the State Rural Development Minister until 2020.
