
PENAMPANG: Newly-elected Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sabah Chairman Datuk Ewon Benedick said he is committed to fulfilling his mandate and moving forward in his leadership role.
He addressed claims circulating that the PH Sabah Chairman position was reserved for Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sabah, stating that such issues should no longer be raised.
AdvertisementEwon emphasised that the focus should be on continuing the struggle to champion the rights of Sabahans, leaving leadership evaluations for the next election in two years.
"Our counterparts in PH have already commented on this, and dissatisfied parties can revisit this issue during the next election," said Ewon, who is also Penampang MP, during a Christmas Open House at Buhavan Square on Saturday.
