
Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick calls upon the people, especially the Kadazandusun community, who have vast land resources, to cultivate their idle lands for agriculture.
Ewon, also Upko President, said that through his Ministry, the government provides financing facilities and assistance to entrepreneurs or cooperatives interested in expanding their businesses or ventures in the food sector.
"The Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry (Kuskop), through its agencies, provides various schemes and assistance," he said after officiating the Upko Kaamatan Festival at the Datuk Shahbandar Makang Community Hall here on Sunday.
