Former Arsenal captain Gilberto Silva is eager to learn more about Fabio Vieira.
Gilberto, who now acts as an intermediary and also player adviser, concedes he knows little about the Portuguese.
He told O Jogo: "I hadn't seen him here at FC Porto, I saw the last game [3-0 triumph at Brentford's] and the great goal he scored for Arsenal [in his debut as a starter].
"Now I'll follow him more.
"Portuguese football is very well served, it has a beautiful crop of players. Young, with quality, competing in the best leagues, I believe the national team will be well served with these players."
