Former Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is eager to return to football.

Hodgson stepped down last week as manager at Palace, having been admitted to hospital after being taken ill at training.

The Sun says the 76 year-old is keen to continue working and is open to a foreign move in a consultant's capacity.

Hodgson made his name in Sweden and Italy before eventually moving home to England.

Palace defeated Burnley on Saturday in successor Oliver Glasner's first game in charge.
