Lower league side Tranmere Rovers are undergoing a shakeup early in the season.
The League Two side have sacked manager Ian Dawes and already named a temporary replacement.
The club have announced that Nigel Adkins, a former Southampton, Charlton, Hull and Sheffield United boss, will be the interim manager.

Injuries have no doubt played a significant part in that, but football is a results game.
