Former Tottenham managers Mauricio Pochettino and Andre Villas-Boas are both candidates for the Belgium national team post.
Belgium are yet to find a replacement for Roberto Martinez, who left the job after the World Cup and has since been named coach of Portugal.
Nieuwsblad says along with the ex-Spurs pair, former Germany coach Joachim Low is also under consideration.
All three are free agents and keen to return to management.
Others being considered are Andrea Pirlo, Claude Puel, former Belgium assistant coach Thierry Henry and Saudi Arabia manager Herve Renard.
