PETALING JAYA: Farah Md Isa, also known as Farah Cie, the estranged wife of the KLIA shooting suspect, remains traumatised after witnessing the attack unfold at the airport’s arrival hall early Sunday morning.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Farah apologised to her followers for unanswered messages, revealing her deep emotional state following the ordeal.

Further compounding her distress is the critical condition of her bodyguard known as Along.

He heroically stepped in to protect Farah when the gunman, believed to be her estranged husband, opened fire.

Furthermore, the post reveals that Along remains unconscious, prompting Farah to plead with followers to “pray for Along’s recovery and health.”

As reported, the incident unfolded around 1.20am on Sunday.

Farah, a travel agency owner, was waiting for for her clients to arrive when a firecracker thrown by the suspect injured two bystanders.

The situation escalated with the suspect, identified as 38-year-old Hafizul Harawi, fired two shots at close range towards Farah.

However, Along was struck in the abdomen and remains hospitalised at the Cyberjaya Hospital in critical condition.

The shooting had then sparked a manhunt for Hafizul, who apparently ran northwards.

The suspect was eventually arrested and taken into custody in Kota Bharu, Kelantan police, yesterday and investigations currently ongoing.
