A viral video showed five students holding the arms and legs of another student and deliberately swinging his groin area towards a signpost.

SHAH ALAM – Police have been urged to take firm action against a group of students at an educational institution who carried out an extreme prank on another student.

Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) chairman Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said that excessive joking is also a form of bullying.

He said all those involved must be charged so that it serves as an important lesson.

“I hope the police will act immediately. Such acts must never be compromised or dismissed on the grounds of being a joke.

“Do we want to wait until there is permanent injury or death before action is taken?” he wrote on Facebook.
