KOTA KINABALU: A government handwriting expert told the Coroner’s Court that there were two names as owners on the first page and two different styles of writing in one of Zara Qairina Mahathir’s notebooks.

Document Examiner Nurul Atiqah Mohd Noh, 44, from the Chemistry Department Malaysia, said some entries were not written by Zara.

She added that the rest of the disputed writings examined were consistent with the teenager’s specimen.

Nurul, who testified as the second witness in the inquest, said she had analysed 20 exhibits comprising six notebooks and 14 loose sheets of paper.
