Leaders and experts on converged on New York City for The Independent’s Climate 100 conference, aimed at tackling the growing climate crisis.
The event also launched the third annual Climate 100 List, which documents one hundred leaders of humanitarian organisations, business titans, environmentalists, scientists and creatives who are helping fight back against environmental disaster.
The launch took place Tuesday during the annual New York City Climate Week, which coincides with the gathering of the United Nations General Assembly in the city.
