
Kuala Lumpur: Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn Bhd (EY Malaysia) has unveiled 12 top nominees across four categories for the 25th EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) 2026 Malaysia awards.
The contenders in the Emerging, Technology, Woman, and Master categories were assessed by an independent panel of judges across four criteria: entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth, and impact.
Nominees for the Emerging Entrepreneur category comprise Esther Erin and Ethan Wong of Dododots, KeYee of Notti Pet Food, and CJ Woo and William Tham of The Solar House Sdn Bhd.
In the Technology Entrepreneur category, the shortlisted candidates are Dr Sunny Ooi of ClickAsia, AK Tan of Agmo Group, and Datuk Wira Cllement Tan of Ramssol Group Berhad.
The Woman Entrepreneur category features Siti Farhana Abu Osman of PTTI Group Sdn Bhd, Ain Azizah Arifin of Bubbles O2, and Jennifer Kok of Media OutReach Newswire.
Contending for the Master Entrepreneur title are Datuk Calvin Chan of Oriental Kopi Holdings Berhad, Datuk SK Fong of SkyeChip, and Dr Chieng King Chong of PMG Healthcare.
Officiating the event, Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong said entrepreneurship remains crucial to Malaysia's long-term economic development and global competitiveness.
EY Malaysia programme director and partner Philip Rao noted that the nominee pool collectively generates over RM5.7 billion in revenue and supports more than 10,000 jobs across sectors including technology, renewable energy, and consumer goods.
The category winners alongside the overall EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 Malaysia recipient will be announced at an awards ceremony on Dec 1.
The overall winner will subsequently represent Malaysia at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2027 awards in Monte Carlo, Monaco, in May next year.
