Ticket prices for the upcoming Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia have surfaced online ahead of an official announcement.
Malaysian citizens with a valid MyKad will reportedly be able to purchase three-day passes starting from RM200 for the race weekend scheduled at the Sepang International Circuit from October 2 to 4.
Leaked F1 Sepang 2026 MyKad ticket prices
The leaked ticketing page reveals six seating categories for the race weekend, with all displayed prices inclusive of tax.
The most affordable option is the G Hillstand at RM200. Following this are the B Hillstand and C Hillstand, both priced at RM809.60.
For those preferring grandstand views, the F Grandstand is listed at RM1,291.40, while the K1 Grandstand costs RM1,386.
The premium Main Grandstand tickets are priced at RM2,083.40. These rates grant full three-day access to the circuit.
Strict MyKad verification and child discounts
These discounted rates are strictly reserved for Malaysian citizens. The leaked platform states that a verification process will be enforced to ensure eligibility.
Any discounted ticket that fails to match a valid MyKad or falls short of the eligibility criteria will be invalidated.
The leak also details ticket policies for young attendees. Toddlers under three years old can enter the venue for free, though they will not be allocated a physical seat.
Children aged three to six are eligible for a 25 per cent discount on all tickets, with the sole exception of the RM200 G Hillstand pass.
Original leak page deleted as Bahrain retains final say
These figures remain unconfirmed by official organisers.
While screenshots were widely circulated across online forums and social media, the original leak source hosting the pricing details has since been deleted and rendered inaccessible.
The emergence of these prices aligns with earlier statements from Sepang International Circuit (SIC) chief executive officer Azhan Shafriman Hanif.
Last month, he confirmed that SIC was negotiating for special MyKad rates but emphasised that Bahrain retains the final authority over ticket pricing. Because Bahrain is bearing the Formula 1 hosting rights fee for this event, it will collect all ticket sales revenue.
Sepang replaces cancelled Bahrain round
Formula 1 and the FIA previously confirmed on July 26 that Sepang would host the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix as a replacement for the originally scheduled April race in Bahrain.
The Malaysian race is now slotted as Round 16 in the 2026 calendar, situated between the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix.
Fans are advised to wait for an official announcement from SIC, the Bahrain International Circuit, or Formula 1 before treating these ticket prices as final.
