Former Ajax striker Kenneth Perez could see his old club being interested in Brighton midfielder Davy Propper.
However, Perez says Ajax would not have the spending power to convince Brighton to sell.
"Do you really think they could just pick up a boy like that?" quizzed Perez on FOX Sports.
"He played one year in the Premier League at Brighton (in fact two years). He did very well.
"What would Brighton not ask for him?
"He had a good year at Brighton. There is a good chance that another English club would also be interested. For example, Everton laughs and pays thirty, forty, fifty million euros for a domestic transfer."
