Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez says his old club look well placed to end their Premier League title drought.
The Spaniard has his own blog where he shares his experiences in Asian football as well as his thoughts on the European leagues.
He said: "It you look at the table Liverpool has a great advantage at the moment, it is too early to tell much from that, but Manchester City can't make too many mistakes or the pressure might become too much."
Benitez also thinks Man City's desire to win their first Champions League trophy could help Liverpool land their first Premier League title.
He said: "Later they will start thinking about the Champions League and lose their focus on the Premier League which obviously would be good for Liverpool."
