Manchester City are maintaining a watching brief for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali.
The young Italy international has emerged as a top target for City chiefs this season.
And Gazzetta dello Sport says City had scouts posted to see Tonali in action against AS Roma on Sunday.
Tonali and Brescia lost 3-0, with on-loan Manchester United defender Chris Smalling among Roma's goalscorers.
Tonali has played 11 games in Serie A, in which he's scored one goal and made one assist this season.
