Facebook is back to normal after a service disruption, with users now able to access the platform and its main functions without issues.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Facebook social media platform is now back to normal and fully accessible after experiencing a service disruption earlier this afternoon.

Bernama found that the application is now operating as usual on any device, including computers, allowing users to log in and use the main functions of the platform without any disruptions.

A user, @MadameSeniorita, expressed relief after finding that Facebook was accessible again and shared the update on other social media platforms.

“Facebook is back!!!” YEHEY!!!,” the user said in a post on the X app today.

Meanwhile, The Mirror, a news portal and tabloid newspaper in the United Kingdom, also announced through a Facebook post that the platform has been restored.

“Facebook is back,” according to the post.

Earlier today, Facebook was reported to have experienced technical difficulties, causing users worldwide, including Malaysia, to face difficulties accessing accounts, uploading photos and videos, and sending messages through the Messenger app.
