PAPAR: A 53-year-old lawyer pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court, here, Wednesday, to using as genuine forged documents in attempting to transfer land ownership.
Mohammad Nor Yusof was alleged to have used four false documents of the Kota Kinabalu Syariah Lower Court
Distribution of Estate Order on Feb 15, 2019, at 10am at Papar Land and Survey Department.
The charge framed under Section 471 of the Penal Code and punishable under Section 465 of the same law, provides imprisonment up to two years or fine or both if found guilty.
Magistrate Abdurrahman Abrar Jarni set a bail of RM3,000 with one surety and fixed March 16 this year for mention.
The charges were read by Prosecuting Officer Inspector Yusdi Basri.
