Kelana Jaya LRT line disrupted by fallen tree near Taman Paramount, with shuttle trains and delays affecting commuters

PETALING JAYA: Train services on the Kelana Jaya LRT line have been disrupted following a fallen tree branch that obstructed the tracks near Taman Paramount station.

In a Facebook update, Rapid KL said repair works are currently underway, advising passengers to seek alternative routes to continue their journeys.

“Trains from Putra Heights will terminate at Kelana Jaya station and turn back towards Putra Heights. Shuttle train services are operating between Kelana Jaya station and Taman Jaya on Platform 2,” it said.

Meanwhile, trains from Gombak will terminate at Taman Jaya station before turning back towards Gombak.

Rapid KL added that trains will experience longer dwell times at platforms as part of safety procedures.

The operator also shared a 34-second clip showing the fallen tree branches on the railway track.

Passengers are advised to monitor Rapid KL’s social media channels for the latest updates on train services.
