Families of the six construction workers killed in the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse gathered on Tuesday to mark the first anniversary of the tragedy.

Boarding a boat alongside Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and Maryland Governor Wes Moore, they tossed wreaths into the water in remembrance.

The workers died when a massive cargo ship lost power and struck the bridge, causing it to buckle beneath them as they filled potholes.

The collapse shuttered the Port of Baltimore for months, though it rebounded later in 2024. However, new tariffs from the Trump administration now threaten its ongoing recovery.
