The family had returned during a January ceasefire, hoping their journey was over after months of fleeing. The house was damaged, but it offered shelter, privacy, and a sense of normalcy.

On 18 March, the ceasefire ended with heavy bombardment, water deliveries stopped, and shelling intensified. They moved to Manshiya, near Beit Lahiya, where the extended family gathered.

Israeli strikes soon followed. A relative was killed. With no transport or money, they waited. Eventually, they reached Gaza City, cleared rubble and raised tents.

Now in their new shelter, fear and hunger remain constant as bombardment continues.
