KUANTAN: A woman and her five children, who were previously reported missing since Monday (March 30), were found safe after they came to the Bentong district police headquarters (IPD) here last night.

Bentong district police chief Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said all the individuals involved arrived in a safe condition at the Bentong IPD around 9.30 pm yesterday.

“Preliminary investigations found that they left home due to family misunderstandings,” he said in a statement today.

Zaiham also expressed appreciation to all parties, especially Bentong residents, for their cooperation and the information provided, which led to the successful resolution of the case.

Yesterday, the media reported that a family of six was allegedly missing after they were believed to have left their home in Taman Orkid, Bentong, on Monday.
