The wizarding world is bringing more than magic to Manila this year as “Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration” invites guests to embrace formal robes, Hogwarts house colors and festive attire when the immersive event makes its Philippine debut.
Opening Sept. 3 at The Space at Solaire, the interactive experience transforms the venue into a winter ballroom inspired by the Yule Ball from the “Harry Potter” film series. The event is presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fever in collaboration with GMG Productions.
Following runs in Milan, Montreal, Sydney and Mexico City, the Manila edition encourages guests to dress for the occasion, although costumes are not required. Those in standout ensembles may join the evening’s Fashion Parade, where participants present their Yule Ball-inspired looks for a chance to be recognized among the night’s best-dressed.
Inside the venue, silver drapery, towering Christmas trees and scenic installations recreate the atmosphere of the Hogwarts Yule Ball, accompanied by music from the “Harry Potter” films. Guests are welcomed by two Masters of Ceremony and Hogwarts House Representatives, who lead the evening’s activities.
Upon arrival, attendees are assigned to their preferred Hogwarts house before taking part in interactive experiences, including spell-casting duels and other themed activities.
One of the evening’s signature features is the Champions Waltz, where guests learn choreography before joining a group dance inspired by the Yule Ball sequence from the films. A Yule Ball Dance Party follows, featuring a dance-off competition open to participants while other guests watch from the sidelines.
Designed for longtime fans as well as first-time visitors to the wizarding world, the event offers activities for families, friends, couples and solo attendees.
The venue also includes photo installations inspired by Hogwarts houses and familiar locations from Harry Potter.
Themed food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event. A Yule Ball Market will also sell official merchandise, including wands, robes, apparel and collectibles.
Tickets start at P1,500 for children ages 4 to 10 attending Family Sessions and P2,750 for General Admission. Four-ticket bundles start at P9,000.
VIP tickets start at P4,250 and include one food and beverage item, entry to the pre-show area 10 minutes before General Admission, one complimentary printed photo and an exclusive VIP commemorative lanyard.
Senior citizen and persons with disabilities (PWD) tickets start at P2,200. Premium pricing applies to select dates and sessions, and availability is limited.
