SHAH ALAM - FashionValet Sdn Bhd (FashionValet) founders Datin Vivy Yusof and her husband Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anuar will be charged in the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court this Thursday.

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed the matter.

"Yes, they will be charged at the Kuala Lumpur Special Corruption Court.

"The couple is expected to appear in court at around 9am this Thursday," he told Sinar on Tuesday.

It was understood that the charges were related to investment losses amounting to RM43.9 million involving funds from Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah) and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) in FashionValet.

Last Thursday, the MACC announced that the investigation papers concerning the investment losses had been completed and submitted to the MACC Legal Division for review and consideration.

The anti-graft body detected several suspicious transactions while investigating the investment losses tied to the e-commerce company.

These suspicious transactions were found to have occurred from 2018 until last year.
