LAHAD DATU: A 52-year-old man died in a road accident involving a Toyota Hilux Revo and a Perodua Viva at a traffic light on Jalan Pantai here early Sunday morning.

The Fire and Rescue Department responded at 3.30am and arrived at the scene within eight minutes with a team of eight.

Advertisement (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});The man, who was trapped in the Perodua Viva, was rescued by the firefighters but was pronounced dead at the scene by health officials.

Four other passengers in the Perodua Viva sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for further treatment, while the Toyota Hilux driver escaped unharmed.
