A 62-year-old man and his 12-year-old son were injured when their car skidded into a mosque foyer in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan.

SEREMBAN: A father and son were injured after their car skidded into the foyer of a mosque in Senawang.

The Negeri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call about the incident involving the 62-year-old man and his 12-year-old son at 9.16 pm.

The Inokom Atos vehicle, driven by the elderly man, lost control and entered the mosque’s foyer shortly after congregants had finished their prayers.

The father sustained minor injuries, while his son was found unconscious at the scene.

The boy was transported to Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital using an Emergency Medical Rescue Services vehicle.

An operation involving eight fire and rescue personnel, assisted by mosque congregants, concluded about an hour later. – Bernama
