The Ferrari driver involved in the viral Subang Jaya road rage incident has surrendered to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
Subang Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, confirmed that the police received an official report regarding the incident, which occurred on 27 December 2025.
Initial investigations revealed that the 33-year-old man had driven his luxury vehicle recklessly by tailgating a complainant before abruptly stopping in the middle of the road.
Suspect surrenders and issues an apology
Wan Azlan stated that the suspect had already reached out to the victim via social media to apologise. Following the viral spread of the footage, the driver turned himself in at the Subang Jaya Police Station, where his statement was recorded before he was released on police bail.
The investigation remains active under Section 279 of the Penal Code for rash driving and Section 341 for wrongful restraint. Additionally, the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division has opened an investigation under Rule 16 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 (LN 166/59) for obstructing traffic, reported Harian Metro.
Following the incident, the driver issued a public apology on Instagram, taking full responsibility for his lapse in judgment. Streetwear brand Stoned & Co subsequently confirmed that the individual has been suspended from all managerial duties and is no longer representing the brand pending internal reviews.
