- Lise Klaveness, head of the Football Association of Norway, accused Fifa of “management by fear”, claiming Lamour was effectively fired for standing up to Infantino as she labelled his sacking “unacceptable”.
- Klaveness praised Lamour for his intervention, noting that his candid statement from within the organisation was essential in successfully halting the commercial project.
