- Yannis, a 28-year-old paediatric doctor living in London, has become the fifth baker eliminated from The Great British Bake Off following dessert week.
- Connie was awarded Star Baker after contestants completed a staggered-start self-saucing pudding signature challenge, a Nigella Lawson technical, and a retro pudding showstopper.
- Reflecting on his departure, Yannis described the experience as bittersweet, noting that juggling 12-hour doctor shifts with long filming hours in the tent had left him exhausted.
- The doctor named the unpredictable technical challenges as his least favourite task, whilst citing hugging judges Nigella Lawson and Paul Hollywood as his main highlight.
- Yannis follows Danni, Shannon, Molly, and Nikki out of the competition, with the series set to continue next Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
