Filipino accused of molesting kids in FBI ‘most wanted’ list

MANILA, Philippines — The United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has included a 52-year-old Filipino caregiver accused of molesting children in its “most wanted” list.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the FBI Most Wanted page posted Dormido’s wanted poster.

Dormido was accused of allegedly molesting minors in Manhattan Beach, California.

The charges against Dormido included two counts of lewd acts upon a child, one count of forcible lewd act upon a child, two counts of oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child aged 10 and below, and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

The FBI said Dormido fled California on July 13, 2015, flying from Los Angeles to Taipei, Taiwan, and ultimately going back to the Philippines.

The agency said Dormido is “currently residing in the Philippines” and may still have family members left in California.
