
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah has a large number of bright young talents who require better opportunities to enhance their career and employment prospects, said State Minister of Industrial and Entrepreneurial Development, Ginger Phoong Jin Zhe.
“With 70 per cent of the population below 40 years, this is a huge pool of young talents and they deserve every opportunity to develop their potential, find stable jobs and contribute to the State,” he said at the sending-off ceremony for Sabahan engineers to undertake a three-month advanced skills in South Korea.
The final batch of 37 local engineers from the total 107 engineers and technicians is part of the initiative organised by South Korean-based copper foil manufacturer, SK Nexilis for local youth to further their skills and knowledge in preparation for the Sk Nexilis Malaysia Sdn Bhd factory in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) here.
