
MANILA, Philippines — Fire broke out in Pasay City, reaching second alarm, on Wednesday.
Firefighters were still battling the blaze along David Street in Village 23, F.B. Harrison of posting time, as authorities determine its cause.
The Bureau of Fire Protection National Capital Region urged the public to avoid the area and follow safety advisories.
The BFP warned against illegal power connections, overloading outlets or extension cords, leaving appliances plugged in when not in use, and failing to regularly check wiring and electrical equipment.
