
LAHAD DATU: Fire destroyed a non-permanent house in Kampung Silam Pangkalan, here, on Monday morning.
District Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Sumsoa Rashid said his department received a distress call at 8.40am and deployed three machineries with 15 firefighters to the scene.
Upon arrival, the commander of operation reported that a non-permanent house measuring 5X10 square feet was 100 per cent destroyed in the incident.
The firefighters carried out an operation to extinguish the fire and managed to put the fire under control at 9.07am.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
The operation ended at 9.28am after the team made sure there was no other danger at the scene.
