TELUPID: A pre-dawn fire destroyed five non-permanent shop units in Telupid township early on Sunday.
The blaze also consumed a 13-door block of rented non-permanent houses and a semi-permanent house, all of which were completely burnt.
Beluran Fire and Rescue Station deployed eight personnel, assisted by three from Ranau, to bring the fire under control within 11 minutes of arrival.
