NABAWAN: Two blocks of 10-door semi-permanent workers houses at Pandewan Palm Oil Kampung Pandewan road here were destroyed in a fire that broke out early Monday.

The fire also destroyed five vehicles. No casualty was reported in the incident.

The District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 1am and seven members led by Operations Commander Jojie Ladius rushed to the scene with machinery. Two policemen were also on hand.

The operation ended at 4.47am.
