SANDAKAN: A two-storey semi-permanent house in Taman Fortune here was destroyed in a fire late Wednesday night.
The Fire and Rescue Department received the emergency call at 11.42pm and arrived at the scene a minute later.
Firefighters deployed two hose lines with a 200-foot water source from the fire engine to contain the blaze.
The fire was brought under control at 12.37am and fully extinguished by 2.16am, with no casualties reported.
