LAHAD DATU: A 1.5-metre crocodile was captured by firefighters after it was found outside a house in Taman Seri Perdana last night.

The Lahad Datu Fire and Rescue Department received the call at 10.04 pm and arrived at the scene within five minutes.

A team of nine firefighters, led by operations officer Yusuf Kassim managed to secure the reptile using special equipment.

The crocodile was later handed over to the Sabah Wildlife Department for further action.
