
PUTATAN: Two firefighters suffered electric shocks while battling a fire that destroyed a fourth-floor shophouse in Petagas, here, just before midnight on Wednesday.
The fire, reported at Jalan Pantai Berahi, Taman Jumbo, was extinguished within 40 minutes by 38 firefighters from three stations.

The blaze consumed the structure entirely and was controlled using three 300-foot water lines and four jets sourced from a nearby hydrant and a fire tanker.
