
BELURAN: A Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) student who was trapped at home due to flood in Kg Dorom-Dorom Rancangan Cocos, here, was able to sit for the national exam after being rescued by the Fire and Rescue team on Wednesday morning.
Beluran Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Edoen Macheal said he received an emergency call from the victim at 7.56am who informed that she trapped at home and could not leave her house as the road was flooded.
“The victim could go to the SMK Pamol dormitory to sit for the SPM exam. We used a four-wheel-drive to rescue her,” he said.
Edoen said the student was sent to school and the operation ended at 9.36am.
