Five FPL differentials you should consider picking for GW1

  1. Christos Tzolis (£6.5m) - The summer signing has caught the eye in pre-season for Arsenal and looks set to start the opening game of the season against newly promoted Coventry. The Gunners are big favourites for the match, and Tzolis will fancy his chances of making an instant impact.
  2. Yoane Wissa (£6.0m) - A slightly left-field shout given Wissa struggled badly in his first season at Newcastle due to injuries and lack of form. However, he has looked much sharper in pre-season and could cause problems for Liverpool’s new-look defence on Sunday.
  3. Ismaila Sarr (£6.5m) - The Senegalese star scored nine league goals last season and could spring forward from midfield to get on the scoresheet again when Crystal Palace travel to Everton.
  4. James Trafford (£5.0m) - Trafford was unable to usurp Gianluigi Donnarumma at Manchester City but proved his class during his time at Burnley. Now at Leeds, he could rack up points when his new side face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this weekend.
  5. Ben White (£5.5m) - With Jurrien Timber out injured, White looks set to deputise at right back, and Arsenal will expect to keep a clean sheet against Coventry. White has also developed a good partnership over the years with Bukayo Saka, so could offer something from an attacking perspective as well.
