FIVE people, including a child, were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving four cars and two tour buses on Jalan Hang Tuah Off, near Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur, late Sunday night.
The Kuala Lumpur Operations Centre of the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM) received a distress call via the MERS999 system at 10.49pm, prompting the immediate dispatch of emergency response units to the scene.
Operations Commander Che Mohd Solehuddin Che Jusoh confirmed that personnel from the Jalan Hang Tuah Fire and Rescue Station, supported by the Pudu station, were deployed with a total of 13 officers and a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) vehicle.
“Upon arrival at 10.57pm, it was found that the accident involved four cars — a Toyota Vios, Nissan Almera, Hyundai Staria and Honda City — as well as two tour buses,” he said in a statement today.
He added that five individuals — two men, a woman and a child — were involved in the incident.
“All victims were successfully extracted and handed over to the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) for initial treatment before being transported to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL),” he said.
