Liverpool could be set to land a sporting director for a brief period during the summer.
Given Liverpool are set to lose sporting director Julian Ward at the end of the summer, they are on the hunt for a replacement.
Norway journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft is now reporting that Jorg Schmadtke will sign for the club in the coming weeks.
However, he also states that Schmadtke will only sign a three month deal with Liverpool.
The aim is to have him 'help out' in the summer transfer window.
He tweeted: I understand it's 3 months deal. Just helping Liverpool out in the coming transfer window !"
